PUCKidz, Inc. - Positive Understandable Coaching for Kidz

A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION

Although PUCKidz (Positive Understandable Coaching for Kidz) Inc. is a newly established nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, its Founder and Executive Director, Keith Quigley, is well-known in the Chula Vista (CA) area for his involvement in sports and other programs benefiting youth.

A native of New York State, Quigley graduated from Ithaca College, Ithaca, N.Y., with a degree in Recreation Administration/Sports Studies.  He moved to California shortly after and has been a resident of Chula Vista for the past 20 years.  During that time he has consistently been involved with various organizations offering programs for youth of all ages.

In 1993, recognizing the importance, and, in many cases, the life-changing influence sports may bring to its participants, Quigley decided to start his own programs of various sports, camps and clinics under the name PUCKidz (Positive Understandable Coaching for Kidz).

In 2012, in order to be able to reach a larger number of participants, and to qualify for grants and donations to further expand his programs, Quigley applied for nonprofit status and PUCKidz, Inc. was approved by the IRS as a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization.

The praises from the parents of the youth involved in Quigley's programs are indicative of the special gift he has in working with young people, establishing a lifelong relationship with many of those youth along the way, whether through the PUCKidz programs or through his longtime coaching of local high school lacrosse and hockey teams.
